John B Rourke

John B. Rourke has been in business since 1949. Over the years there have been numerous changes in the way we do business. One of the changes has been the way we advertise and promote our business. It is very important for our advertising to accurately reflect the quality of our store and the merchandise we carry. Other than a few big cities like New York and Chicago, just to mention a couple, store window displays are not noticed as they were years ago.

The Pinnacle Buying Group, and its editorial and fashion director, Gary Cahn, have brought our windows into the homes of our customers thru the creation of the John B. Rourke magazine. This, the second edition, has received more praise and appreciation than the first Not a day goes by without one of our customers calling, writing, e-mailing, or coming into our store to tell us how nice the magazine is and what a quality piece it is. It has greatly improved our image and our sales. It sets us apart from our competition and takes us to the next level.

The magazine is a perfect marriage of information about our store, national and local ads focus on trends, merchandise and educational articles to increase our client's awareness of what happening in the men's wear business.

We are eagerly looking forward to our next publication. It only gets better.

Dear Gary,

Yesterday, our customers started receiving the "Andrews, Inc. Magazine" at their homes & businesses. The calls began to come in. In every instance, the comments were extremely positive. Phrases such as "Quality Publication"; "Excellent Format"; "Wonderful Tribute to Your Store"; "Excellent way to Image your Business", and this was just the first day!

Connie & I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work and creativity! We know how much effort you have put into this project, and the results show it. Through your exclusive effort, we were able to showcase many of the fine products we offer in the Store, and the Magazine as a venue added our signature to the offerings.

Gary, you were also able to do something Connie and I just do not have the time to do. You were able to interface with our vendors, getting many of them to sponsor the various ads. I'm sure the next time around, once the vendors see the finished product, we will have them standing in line, anxious to participate.
